Ya Mkobe

Ya Mkobe is the journal of the Centre National de Documentation et de Recherche Scientifique des Comores (CNDRS), Moroni, Union of Comoros, published by the CNDRS in association with Komedit.

Sowo la Mkobe means “public way” in old shiKomori. Ya Mkobe was the name of the first fe (clan head and magistrate of a chiefdom) to have developed and maintained the paths that linked the villages of the east coast of Ngazidja between Male and Hantsindzi.
